A simple, step-by-step guide to estimating your in-home service fee before booking.
When a tech comes to your home, a small travel fee is added to your service. This fee is based on the driving distance and travel time from our office to your address. The calculator below gives you an estimate so there are no surprises on your invoice.
(1) Navigate to the Dynamic Base Fee Calculator page to use the calculator widget.
(2) Click inside the box labeled Your Address and begin typing your street address. Include your house number, street name, city, and state for the best results.
As you type, a list of matching addresses will appear below the box. Take a moment to look through the suggestions.
(3) When you see your address appear in the dropdown list beneath the text box, click on it to select it.
This step is important. The checker needs you to choose from the list so it knows exactly where your home is located.
(4) Once your address is selected, click the blue Calculate Dynamic Base Fee button. The calculator will look up the driving route from our office to your address. A result box will appear showing your estimated Dynamic Base Fee, along with a summary of the route details and the address that was used.
Check that the address shown at the bottom of the result matches your home. If it does not, scroll back up and try typing your address again.
